I have a client who has asked me to remove her high end ip based phone system as it has never worked right and is too complicated to use. I have replaced it with consumer level vetch phones which are fine but the house is large and reception is spotty. Now she is expecting some options like putting a call on hold and being able to transfer or page. The Vtech phones I'm using allow you to link five handsets to one base...no problem except when you answer the call on a handset not linked to that base. I'm pretty sure I will have to rip these out and try something else. The client is a little older and wants ease of use and certain features I'm having trouble finding. I'm in Toronto area. Any suggestions of a small business type setup etc or a different manufacturer I haven't considered would be appreciated.
