I'm new here and I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction....

I'm having trouble finding IR codes for my Hitachi TV, and I'm not sure what forum ask in.

Yeah I guess that would have been smart info to include eh.....

My TV is an Hitachi L40A105E

The remote that came with it has a code on it 076ROTNO11

Any help finding even just the Power On/Off code would be awesome!

The model you've listed looks to be the OEM model for that TV and should just work without the need for codes. If it's not working it could be a simple battery issue or, alas, a more costly remote/TV receiver failure.

N.B. A simple way to check if the remote is transmitting is to look at the IR emitter with a digital/phone camera.

Not one that I'm familiar with, but appears to use Pronto IR hex. If so you might want to try the TV codes here.

I tried the TV and the TV0 codes there before I started this thread.... They didn't work.

Any other suggestions?

Trying the Hitachi TV device configurations in the files section, but it would mean downloading and installing ProntoEdit, the various configurations, sucking out the codes and then copying and trying them.

Trying a different app. (N.B. Depending on the device you want to use, I have dabbled with TouchSquid on a Galaxy S3 tab, but it's in a different league price wise.)
