Ok so we got our new samsung 40" led 3d tv in the living room. It fits in our entertainment center nicely and we are happy with it..
i wanted to do a projector downstairs but my wife is against it...
so i was out yesterday and I saw a
display model Samsung 59" 3d plasma (dont care about the 3d)...
50% off.. normally $1799 on sale for $899....
it isnt as bright as LED.. I want to get a 55" LED to hookup to my xbox 360... but this price is tempting cuz the 55" LED im looking at is $1500....
since this is in the basement.. i feel the not as bright screen would be ok.. what do you think? any opinions on the plasma samsung tv? and for use with a game console? lady said first 100hrs are crucial but it is the floor model and has been on for a long time... would buy the extended warranty too...
