We have a client that wants a System upgrade, Really wants the Sammy 8000 or 8500 but none of our distys have any in stock and say on the way but no ETA on when...maybe after 1st of year??

Whats everyone else using thats a great set and they really like??

We are thinking maybe a 6000 or 7000 series Samsung or the Panasonic 54"V10

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

I wish I had an answer to this. When I was last shopping for a TV, every time I figured I came upon the *perfect* set, within a short while I would discover some critical flaw or shortcoming with it, enough to knock it off my list. My list never had anything on it for very long. Weeks turned into months turned into years before I found something.

If I had to start that whole process over again? Ugh. I think myself, right now, I'd try to find a Kuro.:-)

I just got a Toshiba 55SV670U and it seems to rate pretty well,

I did one heck of a hokey pokey to get it...LOL for Julie

I need to get it mounted and add some new gear. I loved the last years models of Samsung..The LT-NxxA950..The 3D effect was awsome, Took a bit to get used to but what a stunning picture

The Kuros are awsome as well, We did a few of those..2 60" in a game room and a couple others in the home

About the biggest problem with the Kuros is that the maximum brightness level changes with what's on the screen. So if you have a single small white ball bouncing around, it will be much brighter than if you had a solid white screen. This isn't really noticable during normal viewing, but I see it plain as day when I turn OSD on/off on my cable box (which has a large, solid colored background).
