The fact that the screen is glass and our Toshiba was a non-glare material caused some worry about reflections of room lights but Samsung has worked some kind of magic with their glass which seems to eat reflections.
Anti-reflection technology has been around a long time. It's been used on glass camera lenses, giving them the appearance of a blue tint. The plastic lenses on my glasses have an anti-reflection coating which acts, like you say, like magic!
I'll check this out on the TV's the next time I'm in a big-box store.
