OK... I had the latest firmware stil loaded... but I'm a little wondered, because I didn't see the C2N-CB in the network device tree... must be a Prodigy Problem I think... but the best, if I programm the C2N-CB with the right CresnetID in simple, the C2N-CB works fine...

You're right, it's probably a Prodigy thing.

I have a PMC3-XP which I had to power down. Should I just be able to hit the SW-R button and all should be good again. Looks to have lost the software

If you power it back up and the program is still good, all will be okay. If not, you'll need to reload from toolbox

If the 'program' ( *.lpz file) is missing, it will need to be reloaded using either Crestron Toolbox (dealer only software) or an FTP client and an app like PuTTY.

If the OS/system level software has been corrupted, a recovery procedure might fix but WILL delete any existing program/UI files in the process: Crestron Answer ID-5153.
