Whats the deal? I have used these all they way up to the 6 series with the MRF300. On the 7 series I could not make the rear IR in work. It killed the front IR Receiver, and would not accept codes from the ir jack. Do i need a boondoggle? ANy one else had this experience.

I have a Denon AVR2307CI. I have to aim my MRF250 sideways to avoid overload in the front IR on the Denon. My wife is a remote waver so I have to use the MRF250. If I point the MRF250 directly at the Denon it will not work. Luckily all the other components seem to not mind the sideways pointing MRF250 and all is well.

It's dirty. You don't want to know. No, really. I don't know. I've used the Denon pieces for years, and have not yet had problems with this, even in the 7 series, however, It does seem to be a repeated complaint. By informing Denon of such things, you may get an answer to your question.

Spoke with Eric Johnson at URC this morning. There is some issues with the new Denon 7 series RCVR.I have found that if you set the MRF250 Ch to 0 it will will work on the front flasher. Eric said this will only work on the MX850 and below.Untill this is resolved I will be using IR systems with URC remotes.

Denon and URC cannot seem to get it together...... together. I still have 2106 nitemares with MX850 MRX300 and volume control issues. Can thes companies not talk to each other and get it right.

Had a DRA685 pass the codes through the 3.5 mini like a dream, all codes but the radio staion pre-set letters and numbers....go figger......

It is to the point that I do not want to use either company's product cause it is way to unpredictable in control.
