I'm a little confused - a few days ago I updated my MX-850 editor via LiveUpdate, and everything appeared to work w/o issue ... however, upon comparing the before/after "about" dialogs, I was surprised that the version (1.12.267) didn't change after the update, even though the update took a couple of minutes and showed the various update stages as normal.
Then tonight I tried updating my MX-900 editor ... it proceeded and took a couple of minutes to update the softare - but, again, the before and after showed exactly the same info - MX-900 Editor version 1.10.086, Firmware: 1.40, IR DB 1.76.
What gives ... when is an update not an update?? And yes, I am using the new installers' update-enabled software, downloaded directly from the installer website.

I don't think there has been a new update on the latest version yet.

The update feature is working. There is no update to the latest one version.

The update feature is working. There is no update to the latest one version. So what would explain the first LiveUpdate after install (of the 1.12.267 cilent) actually seeming to perform an update?

Some small updates do not change version numbers. This is rare, but usually happens when the change was minor. It might just have been to enable/test the "Live Update" on the new software. Mike www.SurfRemoteControl.com

If you watch what was downloaded during the update, you'll see a few .dlls, etc.
If it is nothing more than tiny bug fixes, they may not go through the trouble of changing the update number. This could possibly not even be bug fixes, but just cleaning up certain details in the files themselves.
Just some possibilities.....
