After a recent spring cleaning, I found that I had somehow lost an MX-980 charging dock. I went crazy trying to find where I put it. Weeks later, I discovered I had accidentally been using it as my MX-990 dock! I never even realized they were compatible. Mystery of the missing MX-980 dock was now solved.

So, the purpose of this thread is to share dock and battery compatiblity information.

The URC BATT-ER1 should be the OEM model # for these NP-60 sized batteries.  

First let me say, as it should be common knowledge - DO NOT trust any AI engines for information you're looking for. They are horrible at that and constantly make up answers that are anywhere from kind-of-right to completely wrong.
The hallucinations seem to be getting worse as the different companies try to diversify the learning models for the different AI's.


The same battery is used for the MX810, 880, 890, 950, 980, 990, and 1200.
Battery for MX5000 & 1280 are same

Battery for MX3000
There is no battery listed for the MX4000 yet, so I don't know if it will share the same battery with the 3000.

The cradles for the 950 & 980 are the same but all others are different sku. The cradles for the 8 series remotes and the 9 series remotes are very different - I just checked and a MX890 does NOT work in the 990 cradles and vice/versa.
