Good morning. I am trying to program my new MX-990 but cannot find any codes in the databases for the Firestick. Does anyone have these codes or know where to find them in the URC database(s)?

TIA

The firestick is BT and not IR so it cannot be controlled by the MX-990.

You can get a Fire TV Cube with a FLIRC USB and that can be controlled with the MX-990. Other options are get a Roku Ultra or Apple TV both of which can be controlled via IR.

What you need is the Inteset IReTV y-adapter. Once you have it use the xbox 360 code in your 990 remote for menu, cursor, and transport functions of the Fire stick. Don't expect the newer commands like discrete channel, guide, or 1 & 2 keys.

Roku Express and Ultra have an IR receiver but not the stick. I always go with Ultra. The Nvidia Shield needs an IR receiver like the FLIRC or Inteset. Although, some older model shields had IR receivers built in but that was probably at least 5 years ago.

I have the Ultra and have it working now with the base and IR extender. I will look up FLIRC or Inteset.
Thanks
