I bought the Inteset IReTV USB IR Receiver & USB Y Cable with The Inteset INT422 & Harmony Remotes thingy, and I'm using the Xbox 360 codes on my MX-990, but nothing works when I press the buttons my remote.

I even have the MRF 350/MRF-260 sensor on the Inteset IR receiver and when I press a button on my remote, the blue light comes on the Inteset IR receiver. In fact, both sensors light up, but the remote is not controlling any functions for the Firestick. I have a Firestick 4K Max. Can someone please help?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I have not use that thingy which you described, but from my small sample of reading, I thought I remembered you had to learn the codes into it.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

The Inteset doesn't have to be taught, it only responds to xbox 360 commands. I own the Inteset device and the Fire Stick 4K max, they work great together, I have no idea why it isn't working for the OP. Unless it's the xbox 360 codes in the URC database?

Edmund - you said "Unless it's the xbox 360 codes in the URC database?". Did you use the xbox 360 codes in the URC database to make you Fire Stick 4K max work with your URC remote? If not, what did you use?

I used the codes from the URC database, and again, I can see that Inteset is recognizing the code (the blue light flashes), but it's recognizing the commands. Is there anyway you could help me out with this?

I use UEI made remotes like Inteset 422-3 or ONE-FOR-ALL urc-7880 universal remotes. My URC remotes are too big and old for me nowadays.
