Since you have a full control system available, could you defeat CEC and issue direct commands, rather than using any CEC communication?

I turn off CEC on all devices in all installations using a control system. Just adds reliability!!!

Always the first rule.

Sometimes gets foiled now if a Sonos Amp or sound bar is connected to the TV.

I never thought CEC would be something I’d ever trust.  Still wary!
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

It only works about half of the time from my AppleTV to my LG panel. Never trust CEC.
