I'm trying to import a png image onto my 990 but I keep getting a png error file. I can load the same png onto my 980 with no problem (same simulator). Why can't I import on the 990? Is it a bug?

How much would you or your company charge a customer for a few hours work plus travel time?

How are you importing? Is it for a button, or a background? What size is the PNG relative to where it's going on the remote?

I make my own PNGs using Adobe Fireworks and never have a problem importing, but I always size them to be the size they will be in the remote.

I’m aware of the PNG sizes and I import the same way I imported PNGs on the 980 using the mxeditor. Properties>import file. Works 100% of the time with the 980/editor but only 1/4 of the time with the 990/ccp even with the same files.

I should state that I do all the editing and resizing on my iMac with Preview then port them over by flash drive to my old Windows 7 laptop.

All I can say is it works 100% of the time for me and I create all my button PNGs as well as some backgrounds. Maybe because I'm on Win 10 and you're Win 7?

Yeah, looks like Win 7 might be the issue. I found a workaround and it requires several more steps but I find it works most of the time.

I just re-added the icons for the devices on page 2, and instead of clicking Save at the bottom of the page, I click Next Page, and a save window pops up. Click save and they now show in Layouts and the Data tabs.
