Having and issue with my MX-980 and new Samsung TV (QN65Q60TAFXZA).

When using the directional buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right) to operate the smart functions its jumping multiple items.

Have tried setting the IR Setting "Minimum repeat when pressed" to "1" but having no effect.

Any ideas?

Which database model are you using? I'm using TV.656 and have no problems with my 75Q9FN, but I'm using an MX-990.

Did you try leaving the repeat button unchecked to see how it reacts?

Unchecking the "Repeat while button is pressed" and setting "Repeat" to 1 seems to have worked.

Downside is when you want to skip throu items you now need to individually press the button.

Guess I can live with that!

Thanks!

Similar issues with Roku Ultra on Netflix. Uncheck the repeat while pressed box, set repeats to 1.

Ya, ditto here on the Roku.  Amazon Prime Video does it was well.

Interesting that the MX-990 may not have the same issue.

I do mostly 990s and see it on every Roku Ultra.

I've seen this as well on Roku Ultras.

I've programmed channel up and down (since there is no channels on Roku) to be up and down with the repeat still enabled. So when I want to scroll through quickly I can use channel up/down and make my final selection with individual presses to the actual up/down pad.
