tv model 86UM8070AUB seems to be bluetoth or ip remote. customer has an urc mx-890. i was there today not realizing what tv remote he had.
i sent tons of different lg database codes at it with no affect. read somewhere that tv needs to be off for ir to work on tv. is it as simple as upairing magic remote to activate ir window on tv. i reached out to lg and after chatting for awhile they confirmed it does have an ir window but do not offer a ir remote or any codes for this tv. any one else out there that has been threw this and can help. will be greatly appreciated.

I use URC code 666 for LG.

The magic remote still works.

update. so i figured out the ccp program does not always send the lg codes when testing inside program under the code sets. i figured out these work on said tv but only after downloading into remote, 666 and 748. i am sure others work as well but these are the ones recommended. i will be calling urc to see why the test command doesn't always work, but for all other devices it does. weird and i do have it set for ir not rf control. any one else experience this when programming??
will give a final update when finished.
