The buttons on the touch screen of my MX3000 donot function. I can run the emulator on my laptop and my screens and buttons work as designed controlling my home theatre components.

Make sure your 3000 is fully charged.
Then download the demo file that came with the software.
Then do a screen calibration.
Then redownload your configuration file and let us know what happens.
If the screen calibration doesn't work, then definitely send it back.
