I am having some problems with my MX-800 and MRF-300 controlling Elan HD and equipment that is tied to it. I try connecting straight from the IR out on the MRF-300 to one of my Zone IR inputs with wire only and I get nothing, but if I put an IR emitter on the MRF-300 and receiver on the same input of the HD system everything works ok. I really don’t want to have to waste an emitter and receiver on this connection and it doesn't look very professional. I have gone back through my wiring and checked my connection and everything seems to be correct.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
