You need to put a dummy RF base into the program so that it 'enables' RF selection for the lighting devices, even if everything is IR controlled.

I'm talking about in the stand alone mx editor...by going into RF setup tab and setting the receiver ID and setting the lighting device to be set to RF and assigned to that ID.

Honestly, I bought the remote off of eBay. So all I know is that is a MX-900 Genesis. Is there a way I can figure out what frequency the remote is? I'll let you know in a bit how loading a new config works.

I can't use standalone because I already loaded a remote setup from CCP. It says since I used a newer version (CCP) I cannot load anything from the standalone to my remote.

Ok I used the dummy base station. I used a config with onlly lights. Set up lights by using URC lighting, and used auto adress in the IR database of the CCP. I held the dimmer's rectangular button in the down direction for 10 seconds, then press the "on" button on the remote, and continued to hold both the dimmer and the remote. The lights just crawled down the dimmer for a while and didn't stop until I let go.

Do not press the down button. Press the main light button.

Found the dimmer instructions in the URC Control Room. I reset the dimmer and did a hard reset on my remote. I still cannot address the dimmer. Does the CCP requiring me to choose a base station have anything to do with this? If so, is there a way around that? This is really frustrating me at this point.
