Does anyone know where I can buy some extra emitters for my URC basestation? I have an older mrf-300 base which I believe uses the 3.5 mm plugs and I searched the web but can't find any direct URC replacements? I am looking for OEM URC emitters not another brand.....

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

kgossen-

Thanks for your assistance....just one more question...I looked on URC's website and I do not see anything listed for buying options (Store, etc) so how would one go about buying from URC?

Thanks....

You would either go the Ebay route or find a URC dealer near you.

Thanks for the link....I was looking at the description and it doesn't give the details on the size of the ends of the emitters? Didn't URC make both 2.5mm and 3.5mm ends?

Or am I confused? I looked at my documentation for the MRF-300 and I know mine are the 3.5mm but didn't know if they had any other basestations that use a different size?

Thanks....sorry for all the questions just want to be sure to order the correct size emitters!

Yes URC used to use 2.5mm on the MRF-250. Your base station does indeed require 3.5mm. The image on that ebay page is showing a 3.5mm end. Whether or not that is accurate of what you will be getting is anybody's guess. Why don't you ask the seller for the specifics to be sure, that would be the best bet.

Will do, thanks for the clarification on the 2.5mm versus the 3.5mm ends!

Heard back from the ebay guy and he said they are the standard 3.5mm size emitters from a MRF-350 unit.

I just wanted to make sure these same emitters are "backwards" compatible, if you want to say, to my MRF-300? There is no voltage or design difference between emitters meant for MRF-300's and MRF-350's...correct?

Thanks....

Yes they are the same and FYI any standard emitter with a 3.5mm end will work with the MRF-300/350. The base stations are identical in features. 300 is tan and 350 is gray. The primary difference is the 350 comes with the RFX-250 antenna that is meant for narrow band operation. Don't worry about that unless you upgrade your controller...your MX-350 is not narrow band.
