Hi-

I have the mx450 remote and mx260 base station. I also have a Samsung UN55D8000 tv. The remote that comes with the TV has only a power button. Is there a way to program the mx450 to have a discrete on and off?

Its really a pain when the tv doesn't turn on or off and then everything gets out of sync.

Thx.

For your TV, use codeset 515. It has all the discrete commands for Samsung. It will not have the directional buttons, menu, exit, ok, and numbers. You can either create two TV devices on the remote and just alias whatever codes you need, or learn the buttons missing in the 515 codeset from the original remote.
