1. Unlike the MX-950 the MX-3000 requires a button press to wakeup before it
will execute a command. Is there a way to change this to execute the command
and wakeup the remote at the same time?

2. Is there a way to adjust the button selection speed? Our remote requires
you to wait a second before the button can be reselected (we are using the
default 3-repeats).

3. Favorite channel selection - our demo MX-950 works flawlessly, but not the case with the MX-3000. On many occasions it seems to miss first number in the macro. This seams to be only an issue with the Inspire template we are using.

Our remote is using the latest update and we have tried multiple files. The
demo system is setup with a MRF-300, so I wonder if the favorite channel
issue could be an RF issue. Shouldn't the MX-950 and MX-3000 be comparable
in there RF capabilities.

Thanks for the help!

1. A motion sensor wake up feature would be nice..... if not already part on the 3000

2. Doubt it... You'd be rushing the commands

3. No way this could be a "template" issue. I would check the code set used for the 3000 and make sure it is the same as the 950. Also, be sure the box is not on IR out # 6 on the MRF (or adjust its sensitivity). Last I would check the RF channel.

Assuming none of this helps...... I would just sell the 950.

You can set the 3000 to wake-up via motion sensor. - Hold the main button down until the menu comes up and change the "Pickup" sensor to on.

No there is no way to have the 3000 execute a command as it wakes up. It's a computer in standby mode. It takes a short second to wake up.

No adjustment exist for button selection speed. This is the first I have ever heard of it being a problem. You can hold the button down for continuous or multiple execution.

I have the same missing number issue at times with my Fav macros. putting in delays between number usually goes along way to a solution.

I just received my MX-3000 from Surf Remote and have it substantially programmed at this point. With regard to the Wake-Up feature - i have it enabled but either it is very insensitive to motion by design or it is not working properly ... For my mx-3000 to wake up via motion i nearly have to shake it to get it to wake up. Is this what other users are experiencing with the motion sensing feature or does it appear to be a glitch in my remote? Please advise.

Usually people think the wakeup tilt sensor is too sensitive. One thing to keep in mind is that the remote must be sitting level to start with. If it is sitting pretty level when it goes dark a slight tilt should wake it up. I've seen people put them in a tilt mount or something so they could see the screen better but then the tilt sensor wont wake it up until you tit it to the level position then back slightly. Remember the tilt sensor is a mercury switch if you leave it tilted and the switch is on when the remote goes dark the remote needs to see the switch go off(level) then back on(tilted).

Just a suggestion, let us know what you find.
