I have connected serial devices listed. I create a smart macro group for each device. I then drag the individual triggers from within the smart macro group(using Universal Browser) to my MX 3000 buttons. Works fine.

Lets say I extensively change the Func table for a particular device....or just add/change a few commands. What's the best way to handle this. If I create a new smart macro group for the device, I now have two smart macro groups for the same device. If I delete the old macro group, do I have to re-do all the triggers, not just the changed or added commands?

Or....would I have to select "add smart macro", in my existing smart macro group, for each new command in the func table and then drag the new func command over to it?  For the changed commands, (not new ones) I would delete the old command in the smart macro and drag the new command over.

Is there an easier way to approach this? Am I making any sense. :)

Regards,

John
