I was able to export my old .rcf mx980 file onto ccp... now, I'm trying to add PS3 capabilities to it, and cannot seem to figure something simple: how to chose it under "add devices"

I went ahead and added a device under watch, and selected PS3, but upon going to IR Data, there is no choice under devices for the PS3 or PS2.

what should I be using? I tried to find the PS2 or "standard" DVD and cannot find it.

In their infinite brilliance, Sony designed the PS3 without a way to control it using IR. You can only control it with Bluetooth. So even Sony's own programmable remotes can't control the PS3. Go figure.

There are a few third party solutions to this problem, but there's not an out of the box programmable remote that can directly control the PS3..

Best regards,
Dale
