It looks like I am able to get XP Mode working with MX-950, but this is with 32-bit Windows 7 (my work machine). I haven't done much testing but I can read the remote's firmware version and upload the remote's configuration to the PC.
I will try this again with 64-bit Windows 7 later when I get home.
Edit: MX-950 Editor seems to work in 64-bit Windows 7 through Windows XP Mode. I can do things like read Firmware version and download to remote. If you are going to use the integrated feature of XP Mode, be sure to right click on the MX-950's taskbar icon (icon resembles Virtual PC icon), click Manage USB devices, and attach the unidentified device (according to win 7) that corresponds to your remote.
