There has been a lot of talk about perfecting the macro that calls up movies. Obviously there are so many variables that affect the movie selection process on the DVD changer. Has there been any type of initiative to design a suggested macro for the movie changer? I have so many clients that use DMX 3000 and it seems that even though they are all using the same macro, rougly half of them report back with consistantly good results. I believe Bracken was fielding some information on how to get this thing to respond as best possible. Any word on this? I would be interested in hearing the success rate out there. I find the macro works better with trigger based systems for obvious reasons, but what about IR from a base unit?

You might find something useful from this link. [Link: crbond.com]Near the bottom of the page I suggest a strategy for dealing with the Sony mega changer. Other people have reported good results with it.

I love the sound of bagpipes when I'm mourning. |
