Does anyone know if you can inport different text font? The font I want to use
is available in Microsoft word. I tried exporting the 3000 background into M
word and then adding the text, but when I try to copy it will only allow me to copy the image. I also tried to do it in paint but I can't get the font there either.

What exactly are you trying to do? There should be no reason why you can't import a background that is pre-screened with your own text. I do it all the time on buttons, backgrounds and icons if I want a different look. You may need to use a slightly more powerful graphics program, but not by much.

The font I want to use is only in Word. I can inport my backgrounds there, add a text box and insert the text w/ the font I want but when I try to copy only the image will copy. I can do image and text using paint, but the font I want to use is not there.

I do things like this all the time when creating my client's intro/splash screens as well as buttons and headers. You should use something designed for graphics, like a photo/graphic editor. Adobe PS, Fireworks, Digital Image, and many others will easily do this for you with out having to learn too much. Word is not the best graphics editor by any stretch.

The big question here is: what font? There's probably an equivalent.

Also, if you can get the image and text you want in Word, just take a screen shot with the Print Screen key, paste it into Paint, crop it, and save that image to disk.

I have a font called "Cinema" that was custom designed for my remotes. It has a great look and feel of movie style font on the big screen that I incorporate into some designs. I also love using some script fonts if the situation calls for it.

Would be great if URC expanded the fonts a bit to less conservative styles.
