Hi,

How do you know when there is an update to the editor or component database?

You either are informed of it here by someone who has done the update, or you check the version numbers in the editor and then click on the Live Update icon. It will either download the update or tell you there are no updates available.

Checking the version numbers beforehand is just so you know what you had and what you have after updating.

Or are you wondering about this because you have a version of the software that doesn't allow Live Updates?
When ignorance is bliss, ‘tis folly to be wise.

You are absolutely correct. I don't have the live update, so how do I get the updates even if I'm informed here?
