Does anyone know if you can change the frequency of the MRF100/URC100/URC200 combo when multiple remotes are in your system? How do you prevent 1 remote from affecting similar equipment in another room when not desired? I've got a few FIOS HD boxes in different rooms and don't want to wind up changing channels of a box in another room.

No, you can't, how to prevent it? switch to mx350 and the mrf250 rf basestation.

Edmund, can you tell me what the mechanism to prevent this issue in the MX350/MRF250 is? Is it frequency addressable or something else?

Edit: Never mind, I downloaded the pdf for the MX350 and see that they are indeed addressable. It seems I could keep my current RF-S200 setup (remote & RF receiver) and get the MX350/MRF250 combo for my other setup. Thanks Edmund!

Sorry, but you can't do that either, you would need two mx350's, because both Rf20 & mrf100 will both continue to communicate with mrf250 even though its addressable.

Edumund you are so right as I have since found out! I bought the MX350 thinking by changing the channel # to something other than "0", it would no longer communicate with the MRF100 (which I thought was permanently set to ONLY receive channel "0" even though you can't change its channels). I now see it actually receives ALL of the RF channels from the MX350 and your solution is the only correct solution.

So back goes the RF-S200 and I'll just get another MX350/MRF250.
