I am having a problem.

Just got a new TV. It's a Philips 47" LCD. The model is 47PFL7642D and the remote model is RC 2034301/01.

I have set up the buttons in the control and have started to learn them. However when I try to use them I get some unusual things happening. The buttons only work once. I.E. I press the picture mode button and it switches to the first mode but the button won't work again unless I press another one first. This seems to be the case for most buttons.

With the volume it works ok.

I have tried setting the repeat to 1 and to 3.

Any one got any ideas.

The problem is toggle bit codes. You need to set the ir learn mode to "2 learn " at the bottom of the window, and then teach each command twice.
Have You tried any of the preprogrammed codes in the data base?
You don't need to use the original remote and I doubt the codes are different from any recent Philips/ Magnavox flat panel.
