Hi all!

Can anyone tell me how to go about opening up either of these remotes?
I have several buttons on each that are a little flakey and need to be pressed quite hard to register. I'm hoping I might be able to clean a contact or something...

I hoped there'd be screws under in the battery compartment, but no go. Maybe they just snap apart, but I didn't want to go and wreck the things while trying to pry them apart...

I'll wait on the crowbar until I hear from you :)

Thanks much!

The way to open them is to hold each end of the remote in your hands and twist each end in opposite directions until the the snaps between the two top and bottom halves release. It takes a great deal of effort and you'll feel like you're going to break it. I recommend that you send it in to URC for repair instead.

Start at the light button and pull the bottom out while pushing the top half in.
