Is there anyway to have two different MAIN pages (using variables, etc.) on the MX3000? I want to create two different layouts for my remote. I can do it on other pages, but can't seem to figure out if this is possible with the MAIN page. Thanks for any help. SJ

Yes you can but it is not as quick as it sounds. Send me a message and I can see if I can help.

I am also very interested in a 'how to do it'. J. Todd, any chance you could post some instructions here in the forum?

Thanks!

This is quite simple. First, make sure your user preferences have "user defined hard key page+/- and home page" is checked off. From there, it's setting up two variables (one for each home page) and putting the if/then on each home page key.

I will be happy to send you a demo file if you want to see it set up. Send me an email if y ou would like one.

I like to put my if/then logic on a LCD button called MAIN on a LOGIC page in a hidden device called "System Commands" (the same place I keep my System ON and System OFF macros).

My LCD MAIN button (under System Commands) contains all the logic and every MAIN button on every device then aliases this LCD button. This is great for expansion because when I had to increase my project from 2 to 4 main pages for the last sportsbar we did, I simply had to change my logic in one place and add 5 TVs and 5 Sat receivers.

Got this working fine. I've had this remote since it first came out and it really is an amazing device. Flexibility is really something... Thanks. SJ
