Testing the macros only seems to work if straight IR commands are in the macro. As soon as I insert an IF-ELSE, or nest another macro, nothing happens.
The manual mentions downloading the setup to the unit for testing, but even that doesn't seem to work. I have to go 'all the way' - e.g., programming the macro triggers on the remote - in order to test. Which sorts of defeats the purpose of quick testing. Am I missing something?

I have come across the same issue, but found no way around it... Maybe one of the MSC-400 'gurus' could chime in....

I know this is a really old thread, but I am having the same issue as the thread starter posted here.
Only straight IR commands can be tested in a macro [via PC]. Any IF-ELSE type commands are simply ignored/stepped over.
The same macro works fine if I download it to the TX1000 or MX-900
Any solution to this issue?
