Have something strange going on at a customer install. I have an MX-850 with a MRF-250 radio base station. Programmed the MX-800 and learned the codes from the new Denon remote. Volume control is very intermittent. Works sometimes, other times nothing. I tried learning with the tap-tap-tap method. I got better results. Everything seems to work fine with just IR when in front of the gear. As soon as I connect up the MRF-250, the volume control and others don't work. Or, work less than half of the time.
Here is the interesting part. I set the 250 address to "0" to look for RF interference. The activity light is on solid. I shut off components one-by-one. Old cable box, no problem. But, when I power doen the Denon piece, the activity light goes out and stops flashing.
Anyone having or finding the same issues??

I was really hope the 7 series would eliminate the RF Problems. I have a 2307 on order for my personal use,a nd it will be hooked to a MRF300 and MX900. I will let you know how that goes.

This is a long standing problem with the xxx6 series as well. They react to the RFID# sent with an IR command. If you only have one Denon receiver in the home, with an 850 at least, you can get around the problem by setting the RF ID# to 0 on both the remote and the base station. For more than one Denon receiver, you need to use the new MSC-400 system controller, which can control multiple Denon receivers without ever sending an RFID# to the emitter.
