Does anyone have experience with Direct TV R15 ? I would like to have one remote for the R15 and a HP PL4245N.. Looking for recommendations

I would think that any of the PC-programmable URC remotes would work great for you (MX-850, 900, 950, etc)

Does the R15 use hold down codes like the HR20 does? aka hold down play to enter slow mode? You can't get these to work with the MX remotes with the IR database, you need to hunt down and import the correct codes.

The RC23 R15 remote doesn't have HP tv codes in it, the new backlit RC32RF remote directv is selling has 5 HP tv codes listed. [Link: dbstalk.com]
