If you're just looking for a universal remote to run the D608, nearly any remote made by UEI can do it--although you would probably need to enter some 5 digit codes onto some of the buttons.

Many Radio Shack remotes, Comcast, the Atlas remotes used by many other cable companies, OneForAll, some Vizio, some RCA, etc. Brand new remotes include the RCA RCRP05B ($20 Best Buy), and OneForAll URC-8820 and 10820 (less than $20 on the web and also at Sears).

The complete set of IR signals accepted by the D608 is known, and nearly any UEI remote can be manually programmed to send all the codes. If you want to go this route, I can help you with any manual programming.

What you won't get is buttons labeled with Pioneer Audio specific names.
