Hi folks, I am in the middle of programming my new MX980 remote. Compared to the Denon Aktis RC8000, it's a lot easier. URC's manual makes the excellent point that, when setting up a macro for something like "Watch DVD", it's a bad idea to include an ON command for a device that has a toggle on/off code. In other words, you don't want somebody to press that and turn on the DVD while at the same time turning off the TV because it is already on.

The problem is that my Sony 60XBR950 has a toggle on/off remote.  I have tried pushing every other button on the remote and only the "on" button will turn it on.  So I don't see any hope for a workaround.  If someone has isolated a discrete "on" code that will turn on the Sony TVs if off, but will not turn them off if they are on, that would be fantastic.  Otherwise I will just have to exclude the tv from any macros.

Is that a RM-Y1000 part # on the remote, and the full model # is a KDF-60XBR950? Do you have access to the software?
