Just because a specific model # doesn't pop-up in the URC database, it doesn't mean there isn't a code that works, Unfortunately, they cannot populate every single model that comes out, so they don't always add duplicates.

The first thing you can do is look at the part # of the factory remote to see if it's in the database (usually it shows up right after the dvd/vcr/audio model # in (brackets)).

Next, look for a model # that may be close (eg. DVD450 may be close to DVD250). It may have all your codes, and then some. Try downloading a code and hit the power, input, numeric, and volume. If they work you may be good to go.

Lastly, you can always learn from the factory remotes. URC has a very good learning program with their "go to next button" feature that you can learn a remote in under a minute.
