No. The question is why do you care? He didn't think it was worth $200 to get fixed and he found a way to get it done that didn't cost him out of pocket.
Repair prices are determined by the actual cost that the company has calculated that it will take to perform the fix.
That's not necessarily the case at all, and ultimately who cares?
For many people, $200 is far too much to have to pay to fix a simple problem.
It's just an opinion, not a personal assault.
