I bought this device a few days ago, but I don't understand step 8 of the installation guide, which is:

8. Copy the line [of code from the timer instructions] into all the page scripts of the pages the timers should control.

I'm trying to get the alarm to turn on a satellite box, so I have inserted a 'function-on' satellite box command in the timer's actions to do that (although that's step 10). So in that situation, where is the 'page' that the timer is controlling?

As far as I can see the timer isn't controlling a device page, because in PEP2 you just use commands from My Database.

However, possibly it doesn't help that I haven't used PEP2 much until now...
