I don't quite follow your question. You're not having a problem with the xbox OK. You accidentally changed some settings and got TV OK working properly, but you'd rather have cable OK work in TV mode like it used to? That doesn't make any sense to me, but if that's what you want, you have to press the to and from mode buttons when you program the keymove.

1) Press CBL
2) Press and hold SETUP, 2 flashes
3) Type 994, 2 flashes
4) Press CBL then OK
5) Press TV then OK

Now OK in TV mode will always send CBL OK and TV OK will no longer function. (Makes it kind of hard to use the TV). If I were you, I'd leave TV mode alone and stay in CBL mode to work the cable box. If you need to set volume lock to your TV or stereo in CBL mode, that's another issue.

If you want to clear out any wrong key moves, pick the right mode in step 1 and press the offending key twice in step 4 (instead of device and key) and don't do step 5, and it will be back to normal.
