That's the code that's assigned to the OK button in the DVD/0822 setup code. There are other setup codes with a similar profile, EFC5 00109 comes from DVD/0522 and EFC5 00202 comes from DVD/0880, try those.
If you want to confirm the process works, try EFC5 00099 which is the code for the POWER button. You can clear the button afterwards if you want using the steps from post 2 above.
