Would there be any benefit to replacing my RFX-150 with an RFX-250 considering I'm using an MX-3000 with a 12/04 manufactured date? With this older MX-3000 my belief is that it doesn't support the narrowband technology and therefore the RFX-250 wouldn't help at all with my RF problems and maybe the RFX-250 wouldn't work at all.

I'm very frustrated with the URC RF problems and am considering my options focusing primarily on RTI, however, I'm also considering replacing my MX-3000 and MRF-300/RFX-150 with newer units (including either an MRF-350/RFX-250 or an MSC-400) capable of utilizing the narrowband technology if this would really provide rock solid RF capability. RTI seems to be considered the best product for getting bulletproof RF transmissions and considering the flaky RF transmissions with URC products I'm pretty reluctant to replace my MX-3000 with a newer version just to get it to work properly.
