However, your two assumptions are completely wrong. I am NOT a novice or a masochist, nor are "All of the Yamaha codes ... in the IR data base of the URC editor." Many are, actually almost all are, but ALL are not. I have programmed hundreds of MX-type remotes and am also a Yamaha dealer. Rather than go into all the details, trust me, the two codes that I need for a particular model receiver are NOT in the database. This model uses a unique set of codes, which are NOT included in the database.

If you cannot answer my original question, thanks anyway, but I'll wait for someone who can.
