I would assume, it means a big rewrite for Stewart. I agree XML might be simpler to get to the info, but
1) I don't know if XML makes programming any simpler. A few tools were using an XML file created by the decompiler, so you still need to know what everything means. XML is almost like saying text.
2) all the Pronto tools might be useless, someone would need to compare NCF unzipped XML, PCF unzipped XML and CCF decompiled XML
3) does it use Pronto HEX for IR codes or does it use NEO HEX. Much info on Pronto HEX, not much on NEO hex.
