Any news whether Phillips is dealing with these problems??

Went to a clients today to do some changes to their 7000, I have a Dell 9300 with XP Pro SP2 , and got the error message device is not connected. I have the new editor and could not comminucate with the device, tried Lyndel suggestion to reload USB drivers, no luck.

After messin with this for a few hours, finally got the Pronto working with old editor and firmware. Wee ven broke out the disc that comes with the 7000 and loaded it on the clients tower, never used the disc before. With new firmware and old software I lost control of the Pioneer Elite Plasma while executing macros.

Until now I have been ever so lucky with the Phillips, I was hoping to use the IR duration to manipulate a few functions for the client, but maybe next time.
When good enough is not good enough.
