Just out of curiosity, does anyone know WHY there are no RF learning remotes out there? I take it that it is an FCC thing, but am curious about it. I guess it could be a security risk with learning garage door openers and such, but in the same time, it would be really nice to be able to at least have the ability to program RF hex codes into a remote, so you can use it with your own equipment!
e.g. There are many light switches and thermostats... even adjustable beds that work on RF frequencies that the Pronto (or any other universal remote) will not be able to control.
Any thoughts?
