In this case I'm trying to add a code for something not on any of the remotes I currently have, but one I've seen in the list of discrete codes on this site... which is why I'm hoping there's some way to insert the code directly without having to teach it to the remote. If the instructions are correct you can do this with various versions of ProntoEdit.
