These days, it seems Best Buy has gotten big enough, to the point of an electronics version of Wal-Mart. What I mean is, Best Buy can dictate alot of things to a supplier and has the power to work our "exclusivity" deals with them. For instance, what comes to mind, is the new U2 dvd "Live from Boston" was ONLY available at Best Buy, during November 2001. No other stores could sell it till December. The "Fast and the Furious" Dvd, if you bought it at Best buy, had a free keychain with it. No other store had the free keychain.
Now with the Neo, Best Buy probably signed an exclusive agreement to exclusively sell the NEO for a certain length of time. You will probably see it at other stores, at some point, in the future.
