My NEO controls all my X-10 gear. I can turn any light in the house off/on as well as control the thermostats.

I use a JDS Stargate and an IRXP. Its a simple matter to use canned NEO codes (that don't overlap with other egar in the house). Simply teach an IRXP to recognize these commands and do a little Stargate programming and you're all set.

I've also found that the best way to get the NEO to learn IR sequences is to first press the button to be programmed on the NEO and then hit the button on the remote you're trying to learn from for about 2 seconds. I was having severe learning problems until I started using this method. I keep the remote and the NEO about 2 inches apart on a non reflective surface in fairly low ambient light.
