Greg, That coax (to tv) is for an optional,
second tv and is controlled w/ the tv/video or tv/dss button on the remote control (sony anyways) Also, take that component audio out of your tv and put in the input ie; Video 1, of your receiver. This is how you decode to Pro Logic. The optical is for DD. You must also be sure you're sending a DD signal to your receiver from the DBS. So in a nut shell, you should connect s-video to the tv, component AND digital to the receiver. Did somebody already say this?
